So the weather is starting to get colder and it is almost jacket weather. The problem is that I don't have a jacket... I never knew how difficult it was to find a decent jacket today. I have outdoor gear that is stained and ragged looking, but who am I trying to impress? The trees... I have decided to get a jacket at H&M when I visit the girlfriend next weekend in Boston.
You may ask why I am waiting till I go to Boston. I will tell you why. Seattle has a tax rate of 9 percent and has one of the (if not the highest) cost of living compared to average income in the United States. This means that we not only get paid less, we pay more to live here. Which is probably why I am going to move soon. Anyway, Boston has no sales tax on clothing articles under $175. This means that the $139 jacket I want is going to cost $139 not $151.51.
By the way and completely off subject, I know that in the current political environment it is hard to get good election information... Here is a place that I found and have been using. Five Thirty Eight
Have a great day
